to explore the spectacular and famous Vietnamese cuisine.
​A little group of travellers, who keep relaxation and recreation as priority, will join us on the journey. The trip will take you to impressive lively cities and towns filled with warm-hearted people as well as heart-breaking peaceful and amazing nature, hidden in non-tourist frequented places.
Our program:
Day 1:
We pick you up from the airport Noi Bai Hanoi or we meet at a local place after agreement. After your arrival you are welcome to slow down with fresh drinks and snacks in your accommodation.
In the evening we gather for our first dinner.
Day 2:
We start the day with a breakfast in the way the local people do - with coffee and famous Pho in a cozy garden cafe. After this experience we explore the charming historic city centre of Hanoi on a delighted cyclo tour. Surrounded by the typically colourful and unique buildings of bygone eras in Hanoi's city centre we enjoy the surprisingly delicious food, which the local people prepare in front of your eyes in the old traditional ways. On this day you get the chance to slow down and feel the travel mood to come. A relaxing oil massage for a good sleep can be ordered on your demand.
Day 3-5:
On a comfortable private bus we escape to the mountain region in the north of Vietnam. Here we find optimal conditions to explore fabulous nature and an amazing simple life of the people there. Here we stay in the middle of spectacular nature, enjoying the varied and local fresh prepared meals, hiking on beautiful paths and visiting beautiful lakes while lazing on a boat.
Day 5-7:
We head to Ninh Binh visting picturesque places with artisan village as well as explore the local cuisine which is unrivalled throughout the country. This region has undergone many geological transformations, was once in the sea and slowly rose to its present appearance. There are countless traditional crafts that are practised and preserved here. Nature and architecture are charming and characterised by an impressive diversity. There is so much to discover, experience and savour.
Day 7-9:
Our guide takes us by the bus to the amazing Lan Ha Bay. An enchanting place just like to be the forgotten sister of Ha Long Bay - only few tourists know about and visit this beautiful creation of nature. We stay overnight on a ship and wake up in the middle of the ocean to marvel the sunrise over the Indochinese sea. Here the freshest meals with fish and seafood from the local fishing boats will be served. Unwind on the ship trip among the small enchanting islands you admire the picturesque landscape, go swimming in the clear sea and repeat with amazing food and healthy drinks. It´s like a dream is coming true.
Day 9-11:
We take a short flight to Hoi An, a fairytale old charming quarter in the middle of Vietnam. This place is filled with hidden secrets and you may get the impression that the time seems to stand in this little town. We enjoy the typical regional dishes, visit beautiful unique cafés and meet the local people. You can decide to have a bike tour in the countryside, visiting vegetable farms and attending relaxing cooking workshops.
Day 11-13:
Our adventure continues in Hue, the antique capital of Vietnam to travel back the time with nostalgic beauties and values. Together we taste the famous delicious meals from the region and let you amaze about the slow cooking art of Vietnamese. Due to the importance of the city in Vietnam's past, it is particularly rich in ancient and historically relevant sights. We follow the old traces and are amazed about the present flavour of the once economically and politically important imperial residence.
Day 13-14:
We travel back to charming Hanoi and continue exploring the tasty and savory street food of Hanoi´s corners and visit historical and cultural places. We may have a walk on the local wet market and admire the lively life here. In the last evening after the dinner we would love to invite you to the traditional and famous water puppet theatre nearby a little romantic lake. The old Vietnamese stories are performed here on a impressing, interesting and funny way.
Day 15:
After the breakfast we say good bye for this time. You can be brought to the airport as you wish.

14 days of exploring authentic Vietnam beauties in different places in slow and meaningful ways, included accommodation, all meals, drinks and snacks during the retreat, guided facilitation, all transportation, and ticket for the sightseeing during the retreat.

This price doesn’t include your flight tickets from your country to Hanoi and back, taxes & baggage fees, travel insurance (highly recommended), costs for food/items/activities bought when you’re not present with the group or buy extra by your own decision.

Due to logistics and the people involved, the retreat is non-refundable. Please register only if you are sure that you can attend. However, it would be possible to transfer your retreat to someone else in the case if you should be unable to take part on it and you know someone else who would take part in your place.
We encourage you to have valid travel insurance before embarking on the trip.

Our retreat is limited for 6 attendees.

WHERE:
Your travel home for the 14 nights will be in different places settled in beautiful nature and charming quarter of old towns. You can choose between a beautiful single room or a shared double room.
